Mr. Spurgeon has 24
years experience at ABC Laboratories, Inc., which includes 5 years as
Applications Chemist in the Instruments Division, 14 years in the
Analytical Chemistry Division conducting FIFRA related analyses under Good
Laboratory Practice (GLP), and 5 years in the ABC Pharmaceutical Analytical
division conducting current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) analyses in
support of stability studies. His abilities in method development and
improvement were honed during the entire time at ABC Laboratories.
Matrices analyzed include soil, plant and animal tissue, water, processed
food products, drug substances and drug products. Instrumentation
used included HPLC(UV, visible, MSD), GLC(ECD, FPD, NPD, FID, MSD),
Headspace GLC, FTIR, and Capillary Electrophoresis (CE). Mr. Spurgeon
has served as Principal Analytical Investigator of cGMP studies and Study
Director of GLP studies. He has supervised a staff of up to 24
chemists, analysts, and technicians.
Mr. Spurgeon has worked for Spurgeon Consulting, LLC since July,
2005.
