Welcome to the CCS Scrip Program!

What is SCRIP?: SCRIP simply means substitute money. In other words, scrip is gift certificates from national and local retailers. These retailers agree to sell their gift certificates to non-profit organizations like ours at a discount. We partner with the Great Lakes Scrip Center to order our school's scrip certificates. We then sell those certificates at face value, resulting in a profit for our school.

Example: You buy a $100 grocery certificate for $100. The school purchased that certificate for $95 (a 5% discount). The result is a $5 profit for our school. You have spent nothing extra but have raised $5 for our school!

How Do I Get Started?: Fill out the Enrollment Form and Waiver Form and send them into the school. Once they are received and processed, you will receive an email from the coordinators and you can start ordering!

How Often Will Orders Be Accepted?: Beginning July 6, 2009 orders will be placed every Monday morning. In order for your order to be placed it needs to be received by 9AM on that Monday. All orders are placed by 11AM and we will have them in hand to distribute back on Thursday.

How Do I Order SCRIP?: Currently there are 2 ways to order SCRIP.

1.) Fill out the CCS order form. You will be able to find this order form on the school’s website (www.ccsk8.org) and in current School Reach emails. Submit your order form and payment to the school by the SCRIP weekly deadline. Please indicate on the envelope “SCRIP” this will make sure that it gets to the SCRIP mailbox in the office.

2.) Log onto www.shopwithscrip.com and set up and account (i.e. username and password). You will also need to type in the enrollment code for Columbia Catholic School (17B18CAE2L94L). Once you have done this, you will be able to order all gift certificates/cards from national companies on this site (i.e. Wal-Mart, Panera, Gap, etc.). If you would like to order a gift certificate/card that is local (i.e. MFA Oil, etc), please submit those orders on the CCS order form. Submit your order online and send your check to school with a copy of your order. The coordinators will be notified of any orders that have been placed online.

Please note that orders will not be processed without payment.

How do I pay for my SCRIP order? Payments for SCRIP orders can only be accepted by either check or cash. At this time, CCS does not have a way to process credit card orders.

You will want to check the CCS website frequently for the most up to date order form. Businesses change from time to time and as soon as we know about this, changes will be made to the order form and a new one will be posted on the CCS website. All order forms will be dated.
